Preston Brett Harrelle
President
Preston Harrelle is the President and founder of Technology Associates, Incorporated. In 1990, Preston established Technology Associates as an independent consultant, intent on providing top quality technical services. He decided to expand these services in 1996 when he hired the first Technology Associates employees, a group of bright technical people.
Preston has over 25 years experience in the Intelligence Community (IC). He began his career as a government employee, moved to Booz, Allen, and Hamilton, and then joined Quality Systems Incorporated (QSI). At QSI, Preston was hired as a software engineer and was promoted to positions of increasing responsibility, eventually assuming Project Manager Positions.
Including his time as a technical performer at Technology Associates, Preston has 20 years of software development and database administration experience. In recent years, a larger proportion of his time has been devoted to the care and feeding of Technology Associates. This transition was completed 5 years ago when Preston moved to the front office of Technology Associates where he focuses his attention on maintaining the company and positioning it for the future.
Throughout his career, Preston has built a solid reputation of integrity and high ethical standards within both the government and contractor community. He holds a BS in Technology Management from the University of Maryland University College.
Matthew J. Holmes
Vice President (Engineering)
Matthew Holmes is a Vice President of Technology Associates, Incorporated. He is responsible for expanding the company’s capabilities in the areas of scientific programming, advanced and embedded system development, and mobile computing. Matt joined the company in 2003, after having worked with TA staff on various projects in the previous five years.
Matt has 21 years of experience developing software for commercial product companies and the Intelligence Community. He started his career producing software for the financial management, email and fax messaging, and on-line storage markets. For the past decade Matt has focused on developing leading-edge projects and systems for the Department of Defense, Department of Justice and other IC agencies.
Matt’s expertise is in software architecture, especially for distributed systems. He has an active research interest in mobile computing, including personal digital assistants, cellular systems, and cryptography. Matt has authored several books and articles on PDA programming, Internet security and general Windows programming. He holds a BA degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, and an MS degree in Computer Science from George Mason University.
Henry J. Dudek
Vice President (Corporate Operations)
Henry Dudek is a Vice President of Technology Associates, Incorporated. Henry joined the company in 2003 as a senior software engineer and worked in the Intelligence Community (IC) up until his appointment as Director of Corporate Operations.
Henry has 25 years of experience, fourteen of which were spent in the accounting and finance related disciplines, and the latter ten in information systems related activities. Henry started his career as an accountant at IBM Federal Systems. He spent several years in traditional finance and accounting positions, then subsequently serving as a business systems analyst, combining IT programming skills to automate finance related tasks. Henry received the IBM Outstanding Achievement Award for automating several key contract financial reporting tasks on a major government contract.
Upon joining Technology Associates, Henry has served many software engineering related tasks, from application development in several languages and technologies, data transition engineering, and web server configuration and administration.
As Vice President of Corporate Operations, Henry is responsible for daily operations, overseeing such functions as human resources, payroll, accounting systems, invoicing, and subcontract management.
Henry holds a BS in Accounting from Virginia Tech, and a Masters of Information Systems from George Mason University.
